PJ Library plans sweet storytime event to celebrate Rosh Hashanah

Allison Davis of Nobel Nectar Apiaries will talk about bees during a PJ Library Rosh Hashanah celebration on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg.

The event, put on by the Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast will include an apple and honey bar for each child, a Rosh Hashanah craft and a story time to celebrate the coming Jewish new year.

“We are so excited to partner and collaborate with organizations in our community. Together our PJ families will learn about honeybees, and the Jewish New Year,” said Alex Sembler, young family outreach and program coordinator for the Federation. The museum is at 255 Beach Drive NE, in downtown St. Petersburg.

Registration is requested on the event’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/events/355848415343301 or by email to Alex Sembler at asembler@jewishpinellas.org.

Space is limited, so families are advised to sign up as soon as possible.
