Vodka Latke: The Tampa Jewish Federation will host the annual Vodka Latke on Monday, Dec. 24 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at CAVU, 1601 N. Franklin St., just north of downtown Tampa. This is a party for Jewish singles and couples in their 20s, 30s and 40s. There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres with gourmet latkes and desserts. The first two drinks are included with admission. There will also be a cash bar. Chic attire preferred. Tickets are $54 at the door. For more information, go to

#Gather events: Join #Gather for a private tour of the Tampa Museum of Art’s exhibit, “Robert Indiana: A Sculpture Retrospective” with Seth Pevnick, the museum’s chief curator, on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6-8 p.m. The tour will be followed by experiencing Yayoi Kusama’s “Love is Calling, “ of the artist’s iconic infinity rooms on loan from the Vinik Family Foundation Collection. The museum is located at 120 W. Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa.The cost is $15 for members and $20 for guests.

Snow and s’mores: The Congregation Schaarai Zedek 20s+30s group for singles and married couples will enjoy snow and s’mores on Saturday, Jan. 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the temple, 3303 W. Swann Ave., Tampa.. The 20s+30s are invited to enjoy a campfire, adult hot chocolate and playing in the “snow” left from a kids’ event earlier in the day. The 20s+30s group is open to the community. Monday Morning Links: Free sessions of Monday Morning Links are offered at the Jack Roth Center for Career Development at TampaBay-Job-Links, 4100 W. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 206, Tampa, from 10:30 – noon. The Dec. 31 topic is “The Power of Resilience: How to Bounce Back and Stay Positive.” The Jan. 7 topic is “Setting Goals and Action Steps for 2019” and the Jan. 14 topic is “What’s in Your Job-Search Toolbox?”

Job-search aids: The topic for the Success Worskshop to aid with job-search skills on Thursday, Jan. 3 from 1-4 p.m is “The Art of Purpose-Driven Networking.” On Jan. 10 from 1-3:45 p.m. the topic is “Navigating the Ups and Downs of Career Transition.” The workshops are free for Job-Links program participants; $15 for guests. Alzheimer’s caregivers: Menorah Manor offers a support group meeting in the Samson Nursing Center at Menorah Manor, 255 59th St. N., St. Petersburg, on the first Thursday of the month from 3:30-5 p.m.

Caregivers: On the first Thursday of the month a caregiver support group meets at Temple B’nai Israel, 1685 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, from 10-11:30 a.m. This is an opportunity for caregivers to share their experiences and receive support. The meetings are sponsored by Empath Health.
