Chabad of St. Petersburg

Maccabee Makerspace: Children love using their hands to learn as well as their minds, and that’s why a new program called the Maccabee Makerspace will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. Kids will use their creativity and STEM skills to build a robot dreidel and a 3D menorah made of s’mores. After the menorah is built, there will be a menorah lighting ceremony. This event is free. RSVP to the Chabad center.

Women’s Book Club: On Tuesdays, Dec. 11 and 18 from 11 a.m. to noon, the book group discusses different chapters and topics from Towards a Meaningful Life By Simon Jacobson. Each class is independent so women can drop in anytime. Coffee, fruit and homemade pastries will be served. RSVPs not necessary but appreciated. There is no charge to attend. RSVP to Chaya@
