Chabad of Clearwater

Hanukkah celebration: Join in a celebration on Clearwater Beach on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 4-6 p.m. in front of Surf Style, 315 Gulfview Blvd., when Chabad of Clearwater lights the world’s “funniest menorah,” assembled with over 1000 Laffy Taffy candies, each featuring two jokes on the wrapper. The annual event will also include a live concert by Tali Yess, a NewYork-based recording artist who performs original music and covers classic Chassidic tunes. There also will be dreidels and “Mad Science” show for kids, a gelt drop of goodies from a Clearwater Fire truck, a Hanukkah prize wheel, latkes, doughnuts, a light dairy dinner and more.
