Celebrate Jewish Heritage Day with Rays on May 21
The community is encouraged to come together to take in a Tampa Bay Rays game on Sunday, May 21 for Jewish Heritage Day at the Trop. The Rays will take on division rival New York Yankees that afternoon.
The Jewish Federation of Pinellas and Pasco Counties is partnering with the Rays on this annual event, which includes game tickets at discounted prices.
Press level seats are available at $29 per person for groups of 10 or more people when purchased at one time, or $34 for individual ticket purchases.
Those participating in the offer will also get a choice of a Rays baseball hat or a Rays kippah, which can be picked up at tables located near section 222/224 until the third inning by presenting your game ticket.
A Jewish War Veteran post will present colors before the game. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. and the gates will open at 11:10 a.m. Attendees are invited to come early and visit the Ted Williams’ Baseball History Museum inside Tropicana Field.
For any kids under 14 who come to the game that day, a Super Rays comic book will be given out, while supplies last. Parking is free for those with four or more per car.
After the game, as always, kids get to run the bases.
