Gulf Coast seeks donations for annual Hanukkah gift bazaar

Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services is asking for the community’s help in stocking its annual Hanukkah Gift Bazaar with an assortment of gift items for all ages, from infants to seniors.

The Hanukkah Gift Bazaar provides clients with gifts and everyday household items that they may not be able to purchase. Clients can select gifts for their families and themselves. This year’s bazaar will be open by appointment only from Dec. 14-30. There is no charge to clients and there is complete privacy.

“Clients look forward to this event every year. It’s a way to bring a little Hanukkah miracle into their families lives,” said Gail Allen, family support services coordinator at Gulf Coast.

Gift items needed, but not limited to, include: Judaica, Hanukkah non-perishable food items, toys, pajamas for children, underwear, socks, and full-size toiletries.

Gift cards are also needed to support its Chicken for Shabbat perishable food program. Gift cards allow clients to shop with dignity. Favorite gift cards include Publix, Wal-Mart and Speedway gas.

As always, Gulf Coast is asking synagogue youth groups to collect items as part of its ongoing Community Service for Kids Program.

Contact Allen at (727) 479-1806 or to drop off donations, make an appointment to shop in the bazaar, or for more information.
