Reflections

Bill and Sally Israel

As avid readers and devotees of The Jewish Press since its inception, we cannot imagine the Tampa Bay area without this vital link that connects and informs our Jewish communities about issues and events of Jewish interest, importance and concern. You have maintained high journalistic standards in your reporting throughout your 30 years of keeping us informed, and we are indeed fortunate to have such a high quality newspaper as The Jewish Press delivered to our mailbox and available at various pickup points in the Tampa Bay area.

Congratulations to you and to your talented and dedicated staff for keeping us in the know. Your coverage and your professionalism are of the highest order. Your independent and impartial editorials and guest columns and your coverage of local and national news and events of Jewish interest are vital to the Jewish communities of the Tampa Bay region.

On a personal note from our many years of involvement with Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services and with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Tampa Bay (JGSTB), we could not reach our target audience without you. And it works. Each month at JGSTB meetings when we ask new attendees how they knew about us, the answer is nearly always, “We read about it in the Jewish Press.” Thanks for getting the word out.

On this 30th anniversary of The Jewish Press, we extend our best wishes and our high hopes for many more years of keeping us informed.

Bill and Sally Israel have been residents of St. Petersburg since 1968 and are members of Temple Beth-El in St. Petersburg.
