Cong. B’nai Emmunah Tarpon Springs

Lunch bunch: This group meets on the second Sunday of each month at 12:45 p.m. for lunch and a Jewish movie at the synagogue. There is a $3 charge for lunch. Reservations are requested. Call (727) 938- 9000 to RSVP.

Mah jongg: Games are held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays. Bring your own lunch. The games are open to all, including non-members. RSVP to (727) 938-9000.

New class: Judaism 201 will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. Call the temple for more information.

First Friday: On the first Friday of each month at 6:15 p.m. a pot luck dinner, followed by Shabbat services at 7:30 p.m. Bring your favorite meatless dish, enough for eight. Call the temple to let the staff know what you will bring.

Open house: Come meet Rabbi Lynn Goldstein and get to know the familyoriented congregation and religious school teachers at an open house on Sunday, Aug 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will learn about the congregation’s growth in the past year and plans for the future. Light refreshments will be served.

Havdalah open house: Take part in a Havdalah service on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m., learn about the congregation and enjoy food at this event.
