TGI Shabbat: Enjoy melody and song, conversation and kosher cuisine on Friday Aug. 26 at 7 p.m., all seasoned with just the right amount of Torah. There is no charge but reservations are appreciated. To RSVP, go to

Education registration: Registrations are now being accepted for the Chabad Hebrew School of the Arts, an interactive, hands-on Hebrew School that offers children the opportunity to explore their heritage through different art mediums. Arts include: art journaling, clay creations, baking and tikkun olam projects. The Hebrew reading curriculum, Aleph Champ, helps students advance through a range of color-coded levels, motivated to excel and graduate each stage. All Jewish children – regardless of background, affiliation, or financial status – are invited to attend. Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to noon for children ages 5 -13. Torah study: A study session, “Torah Applied: Ancient Wisdom, Modern Application,” is offered on Tuesdays at the Chabad Center at 7:30 p.m.
