Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

Leah Levana Monast

Leah Levana Monast, daughter of Dr. Dale Monast of Harbor Bluffs, was called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, May 7 at Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater.

A seventh grade student at Shorecrest Preparatory School, Leah was invited to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. She enjoys playing the piano and is active in sports, playing on the school’s volleyball and tennis teams and she also plays club volleyball. For her mitzvah project, Leah is a volunteer in Clearwater for homeless children.

The Monast family hosted a reception at the Marriott on Saturday, May 7.

Special guests included grandparents from Michigan, along with family and friends from Michigan, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle and Philadelphia.
