Anti-Semitism talks to be given in St. Pete, Clearwater


Mark D. Melamed Mark D. Melamed Congregations in St. Petersburg and Clearwater will host Mark D. Melamed, director of development, Anti-Defamation League, Florida Region, for talks on anti-Semitism next month.

On Wednesday, March 16 at 7 p.m., Melamed will speak on “Global Anti- Semitism Here and Abroad” at Conservative synagogue Congregation B’nai Israel, 300 58th St. N., St. Petersburg. This event is free and open to the public.

The following day, March 17 from 5-6 p.m., Melamed will be in Clearwater at Temple B’nai Israel, a Reform temple at 1685 S. Belcher Road, to present the latest information regarding cyberspace bigotry, anti-Semitism on college campuses, civil rights, Israel and more. This event is also free and open to the public.
