JOHN L. LINO, 88, of St. Petersburg, died Jan. 16. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. (David C. Gross Funeral Homes, St. Petersburg Chapel)

JEAN MALKIN, 87, of Clearwater, died Jan. 19. She was born in Cleveland, and was a life member of Hadassah. Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Weiss, and Cindy Gottlieb; son and daughter-in-law, Harold Streem and Susan Dolin; sister, Betty Sokolsky; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter. (David C. LOIS SCHNEIDER, 87, of Tierra Verde, died Jan. 14. A native of New York, she moved to this area in 1989 from there. She was a retired schoolteacher. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Ellen Schneider, of Trenton, NJ, and Judy and Hal Hershkowitz, of Tierra Verde; and three grandchildren. The family suggests memorials may be made to the SPCA, ( (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)

SHIRLEY (SUNNIE) STUBENSKY, 92, of Dunedin, died Dec. 27. She was born in New York City and after college graduation, she worked as a hospital dietician. In 1988, she and her late husband, Jack, moved to Florida. Survivors include her daughter, Eileen Jacobs, son-in-law, Sherman Slone; sister, Gladys (Gloria) Pearlman; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center or Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater. (David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Clearwater Chapel)

MARCELLA YEDID, 69, died Jan. 17. She was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She is survived by her husband, Roger. (David C. Gross Funeral Homes, St. Petersburg Chapel)
