Teachings of the sages: A class, “Beyond the Letter of the Law,” is being offered on Mondays from 7-8 p.m. at Chabad of West Pasco. The ancient writing of Pirkei Avot is the Talmud’s handbook of advice and guidance. Its lessons have been the foundation of Jewish character, personality, morality and ethics. This interactive study group will be led by Rabbi Yossi Eber and will demonstrate the teachings of sages’ relevance to modern day life. All are welcome, regardless of background or affiliation. For more information, call (727) 376-3366. RSVPs are appreciated.

Understanding faith: Study at the rabbi’s house on Thursdays at 8 p.m. with a class, “The Gate to the Understanding of G-d’s Unity and Faith.” The class will study the second part of the Book of Tanya. This will be an in-depth and Kabbalistic understanding of Shema Yisrael – G-d’s interaction with creation.

Hebrew School: Those interested in Hebrew school should call the Chabad center for more information.
