Jewish Women International

Meet and greet: Jewish Women International of North Pinellas invites new and prospective members to a “Meet and Greet” on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. Information will be presented on promoting awareness and prevention of domestic violence, which is part of the JWI’s mission. Hadassah

Mah jongg: The Lylah Pinellas Chapter of Hadassah invites all mah jongg players to the Countryside Country Club on Wednesday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a day of fun games and a buffet luncheon. Singles

Tampa Theatre tour: The Tampa Jewish Singles Group, a meet-up group formed by Congregation Beth Shalom in Brandon, is going to the Tampa Theatre for a 90 minute tour detailing the secrets, stories, art and architecture of this historic movie palace. The tour is Saturday, July 11, at 11:30 a.m. and costs $7.50. RSVP to Anita at niewdnarb@yahoo.com. The theater s at 711 N. Franklin St. in downtown Tampa.

Support groups

Alzheimer’s caregiver groups: Menorah Manor’s Bresler Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Program offers a support group meeting in the Samson Nursing Center at Menorah Manor, 255 59th St. N., St. Petersburg, on the first Thursday of the month from 3:30-5 p.m.

The Inn on the Pond and the Alzheimer’s Association offer a support group meeting on the last Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Inn on the Pond, 2010 Greenbriar Blvd., Clearwater.
