Spy for Iran convicted in Israel

JERUSALEM (JTA)– Iranian- Belgian national Ali Mansouri, 56, was convicted of espionage and aiding an enemy in wartime in an Israeli court on April 21. He was sentenced to seven years in prison as part of a plea bargain agreement. The court determined that the information Mansouri passed Tehran was of “limited value,” Reuters reported.  More...

Russia: missile deal with Iran will not happen soon

(JTA) – Russia will not sell Iran advanced surfaceto air missiles in the near future, Russia’s deputy foreign minister said.  Russia earlier this month said it would lift its embargo on the sale of S-300 missile systems to Iran, antagonizing Israel and the United States.
