Next stop Broadway?

Yael Reich, daughter of Karen and Cary Reich of St. Petersburg, recently completed her first professional theater contract this past summer at Bigfork Center for Performing Arts in Bigfork, MT. Among several roles in various shows, she played Anita in West Side Story. Yael is completing her final year attaining her bachelor of fine arts in musical theatre at the University of Florida. She will next be seen on the UF Constans Theatre Stage starring in the role of Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, running Oct 24 through Nov. 2. Yael is thrilled to be joined on stage by her sister, Ariel, also studying fine arts at UF.

Yael Reich as Mrs. Lovett on the poster advertising an upcoming production of ‘Sweeney Todd’ Yael Reich as Mrs. Lovett on the poster advertising an upcoming production of ‘Sweeney Todd’ Jeremy Matson, 22, son of Jodi Gars Matson and Jim Matson and grandson of Shelley Gars, all from St. Petersburg, recently secured a position as an actuarial analyst in Raleigh, NC, at Progressive Benefit Solutions, an employee benefits consulting firm. Jeremy graduated from Florida State University earlier this year with a bachelor’s of science in actuarial science and a minor in business.
