First Pitch honors

Earlier this year the Jewish Press profiled St. Petersburg physician David Baras after he braved 20-below-zero temperatures to run in the Ninth Annual Antarctic Ice Marathon. The story included a photo of Baras at the finish line wearing a Tampa Bay Rays shirt. The team’s promotional staff loved the picture so much that he has been invited to throw out the first pitch on Saturday, May 10 when the Rays take on the Cleveland Indians. The game starts at 7:10 p.m.

Dr. David Baras Dr. David Baras P.S. I’d love to hear from you. Send information and photos to: Sincerely Yours, P.O. Box 6970, Clearwater, FL 33758, e-mail or fax: (727) 530- 3039
