Obituaries

SHIRLEY ADASKES, 87, of St. Petersburg, died Feb. 20. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Tampa eight years ago from Orlando. Survivors include her daughter, Robi Adaskes, of Tampa. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)

BOB GOLDSMITH, 87, of Clearwater, died Feb. 19. Survivors include his wife, Lois; daughter, Ruth Goldsmith; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Kathy Goldsmith; sister, Marge Reuven; one grandson. The family suggests memorials may be made to Camp Boggy Creek, 30500 Brantley Branch Rd., Eustis FL 32703. (David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Clearwater Chapel)

IRMA LICHTENBERG, 94, of Clearwater, died Feb. 19. A native of Frankfurt, Germany, she was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater. Survivors include her children, Kathy and Walt. ALEXANDER M. MELAMUD, 82, of Sarasota, died Feb. 16. He was born in the Ukraine and moved to the United States in 1979. He was a Medical Examiner at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Raisa; two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Melamud, of Miami, Gene and Robyn Melamud, of Clearwater; brother, Roman Melamud, of Tampa; sister, Raisa Kaykov, of Lakeland; five grandchildren. The family suggests memorials may be made to Temple B’nai Israel Religious School in Clearwater. (Hubbell Funeral Home)
