Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

Rachel Bryn Greear

Rachel Bryn Greear, daughter of Susan and Tom Greear of Tarpon Springs, will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, June 22 at Congregation B’nai Emmunah in Tarpon Springs.

Aseventh grade honors student at Tarpon Springs Middle School, Rachel was a Principal’s List recipient of the outstanding scholastic ability award given by Mayor David Archie. She was a participant in the Pinellas County Schools Science Fair and also participated in the wind instrument solo and ensemble 2012-2013, earning a superior rating. Rachel is active in Mixed Martial Arts and currently has a Yellow Belt. She also enjoys writing, playing her flute and swimm ing. Rachel’s mitzvah project was the Ronald McDonald House, collecting over 1,000 books for them, cooking dinner for the residents and decorating the house for the holidays.

Tom and Susan Greear will host a dinner reception at Cypress Run Country Club on Saturday, June 22.

Special guests will include grandmother, Sharon Goldman, grandfather William Goldman, cousins from Georgia, along with other family and friends.
