After 15 years as managing director, investment banking, with Raymond James & Associates, Barry M. Alpert, is leaving that post for a new role as senior vice president, investments, in the Raymond James & Associates retail advisor system. Throughout his career, Alpert has dedicated himself to community and philanthropic leadership for a wide variety of charitable and cultural causes, including as a founder, chairman and treasurer of Ruth Eckerd Hall, founder/ chairman of Menorah Manor and board member of the Florida Holocaust Museum.
