HOWARD ADELMAN, MD, 80, of Seminole, died Nov. 3. Born in Far Rockaway, NY, he was a board certified radiologist and retired owner of Largo Radiology. He received his medical degree in Holland prior to becoming associate director of radiology and director of the school of radiological technology at Mary Immaculate Hospital, Queens, NY.  More...

MINNIE BRAND, 93, of Clearwater, died Oct. 25. She was born in New York and lived in Peekskill, NY, where she was a salesperson prior to moving to Florida in 1978. She moved to Clearwater in 2005 from Sunrise. She was a member of Temple Ahavat Shalom and its Sisterhood and also belonged to Hadassah.  More...

THOMAS H. MAGARIEL,

THOMAS H. MAGARIEL, 62, of Seminole, died Nov. 3. A native of Kansas City, MO, he moved here from Overland Park, KS in 2005. A graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College, he served in the Army Reserves and was in the commercial equipment leasing business for more than 37 years. He worked for SLS Financial Services since 1988.  More...

DORIS W. SOPKIN,

DORIS W. SOPKIN, of Clearwater, died Oct. 25. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to the area in 2009 from Florence, SC, where she had been a member of Temple Beth Israel for over 60 years. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Sopkin Box and Jack Box of Crystal Beach; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  More...
