Shofar factory at Chabad of Pinellas County

Shofar makers at work. Shofar makers at work. In preparation for Rosh HaShana 5771, young and old took part in a “shofar factory” demonstration at Chabad of Pinellas County in Palm Harbor on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

The demonstration was led by Rabbi Shalom Adler, Director of Chabad of Pinellas County and Rabbi Levi Hodakov, Youth & Program Director.

In addition to the hands on activity that included sanding and cleaning their very own shofar, participants were taught the various sounds of the shofar and how to blow it.
