HERMAN MAYER PAIKOWSKY,

HERMAN MAYER PAIKOWSKY, 82, of Clearwater, died Aug. 17. A native of New York City, NY, he lived in Vermont before moving here more than 35 years ago. He was a graduate of the University of Vermont and did graduate work at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He worked as an inventory control manager for the Eckerd Corporation. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Marian; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Sarah Paikowsky and Steve and Julie Paikowsky; and six grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Birthright Israel, 33 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. (David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Clearwater Chapel)
