Freefall Theatre to present Jewish themed rock/romance musical at Studio@620

The freeFall Theatre Company will present ROOMS a rock romance, a funny yet thoughtful musical that tells the story of the creative and romantic entanglements of a Scottish Jewish singer/ songwriter and a reclusive rocker.

The show includes numbers like Friday Night Dress, reminiscent of Fiddler on the Roof’s A Sabbath Prayer and the edgy number Scottish Jewish Princess, which raises eyebrows at the couple’s first gig — a bar mitzvah.

The show stars real life couple Nicole Kaplan and Graham Fenton.

Kevin Lane, co-founder of freefall Theatre Company, is the show’s producing director and Eric Davis is the artistic director.

ROOMS runs September 10- 26, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 7 p.m, at Studio@620, 620 First Ave. S., St. Petersburg, Tickets are $20 - $40. Discounts for students and groups of 10+ are available. Tickets may be purchased at www.freefalltheatre. com, the Studio@620 box office or call freefall Theatre Company box office at (727) 359-0525.
