Mah jongg tournament to raise money for cancer

Mah jongg players are invited to participate in a tournament on Sunday, Aug. 22 from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Westshore Hotel in Tampa.

The tournament consists of five rounds. A minimum donation of $36 is required, which includes a buffet brunch and a thank you gift for each player.

Sponsored by Tampa resident Debra Kent Faulk, proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure Breast Cancer and the Marliere Hospice Care Center of New Port Richey.

Pre-registration is required, with entry on a first come, first served basis.
