USF to offer Sephardic studies course in July
The University of South Florida Department of Continuing Education invites the community to attend a four-session course in Sephardic studies.
Dr. George Zucker will be teach the course on Tuesdays, July 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, 2902 W. Fletcher Ave. The class will deal with the history, language and culture of the Sephardim, descendants of the Jews expelled from Spain in 1492.
