Survivor’s tale: Guest speaker Jacqueline Albin will discuss her experiences as a child survivor of the Holocaust during a meeting of the North Pinellas Chapter of Hadassah on Monday, April 26 at 11:30 a.m. at Temple Ahavat Shalom, 1575 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor. Participants may bring a bag lunch. Coffee and dessert will be served.

Installation event: The St. Petersburg Chapter of Hadassah will install new officers on Thursday, May 13 at 6 p.m. at the Bayou Club. The slate of officers is headed by Sandi Rodman for president. contact Naomi Berg at 381-0029 or Selma Gaby

Genealogy Society

Special speaker: Business systems analyst

Clint Elbow will talk about the use of computers in conducting genealogical research at the Jewish Genealogical Society of Tampa Bay meeting on Sunday, May 16 at Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services, 14041 Icot Blvd., Clearwater. A social with refreshments and library access begins at 1:30 p.m. and the featured program starts at 2 p.m.

Support Groups

Alzheimer’s Group: The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets the first Thursday of the month from 4-5 p.m. at Menorah Manor in St. Petersburg. Facilitated by Gwen Kaldenberg, MSW, director of the Bresler Alzheimer program at Menorah Manor, discussions focus on the latest practices for the treatment of Alzheimer’s.
